What about an excursion to the City of Salzburg, best known for Mozart, or to impressive nature beauties such as our planet´s largest ice caves in Werfen and the castle of Werfen, the Lammeröfen gorge or lake Gosausee – there is something for everyone! On Abtenauer Bergbahnen the ski slopes of Abtenau´s Karkogel Mountain a variety of national and international competitions are run. Fun is guaranteed by day and night on the newly conctructed, approx. 3 km long, snow guaranteed and illuminated toboggan run!

The Sonnleiten ski lifts, whose ski runs lead directly into the center of Abtenau are certainly one of the best learn-to-ski runs in the Alps.
